Recycled and ethically sourced copper is treated to create dynamic surface variations, from bright penny polish to textured teal patina and stages in between, in kanju’s Swahili Arch Mirror. This mirror may be installed hanging or leaned against a wall either horizontally or in a full-length vertical position.
Motifs include stretches of aluminum and copper patchwork along vertical edges, Swahili arch architectural forms along the horizontal, and corners with bubbles in varying sizes situated on several planes creating a sense of dynamic multi-dimensional play. The interior mirror is constructed of 18 weathered panes fit together and accented by fine inlaid copper discs.
kanju’s Swahili Arch Mirror is available in one standard size but please contact us to discuss custom sizes and shapes. May also be ordered as a frame without the mirror installed for large-scale photo, window and other framing applications, in addition to standalone décor.
