South African fine art photographer Sandy McLea’s Panomontage Series features works composed of images taken in a single scene, arranged in a panoramic montage. The compositions rely on “Gestalt effect”—our mind’s ability to group and correct a fragmented whole to generate a meaningful perception of the moment.
Works in Panomontage create sensations of presence, movement, and call viewers’ attention to the passage of time. There are five total artworks in the collection and each is a 30-edition closed series that is signed and numbered by the artist. Pricing and dimensions reflect artwork as framed by the artist, but work may be requested unframed. A narrower versions of artworks available upon request.
