kanju presents a range of stunningly textured Crocodile Cuffs, handmade in Zimbabwe using ethically and sustainably farmed Nile Crocodile tail. Each of two styles is available in a selection of vibrant jewel tones, pearls, and metallic colors which take several months to develop and are changed each year, making the pieces highly exclusive and collectible and setting trends for tanneries and fashion houses around the world
15% of all Crocodile Collection sales go to the Jafuta Foundation, a local resource supporting artisans and conservation in Victoria Falls.
Our crocodile Cuffs are a 100% organic material that is small batch- dyed. This means that no two skins are exactly alike and is part of the uniqueness of our product. Each cuff is hand cut and made to fit the skin i tself, so there may be minor differences in full length and width, but the fit will always be as stated. This section of crocodile skin was previously unused in production because to the nature of the raw material, so we have developed a method of working by hand to ensure there is as little waste product as possible from the full crocodile.
All of our skins come from CITES-registered farms, where conditions are strictly monitored by international bodies. The process of crocodile farming has been one of conservation’ s great success stories Colors We produce a seasonal range of colors in limited amounts, so please check with us on availability prior to ordering.
