The wood species is invasive in South Africa, and systematic removal of the wood protects native woods and old-growth forests, making the pieces both beautiful and eco-friendly. Each is individually made and polished to a raw, natural sheen. Blue Gumwood is dense and stands up to the outdoors, weathering to a beautiful gray over time.
