Striped Mud Cloth Pillow

Developed centuries ago by the women’s Bamana culture of Mali, mud cloth is a sumptously textured hand loomed cotton fabric dyed with fermented silt in a long form process that is still preserved today. Graphic patterns inspired by nature and the inherent rhythms of day to day life are celebrated on each individually handcrafted textile which kanju has converted into reversible pillows.
