Laurie Wiid van Heerden established his studio, Wiid Design, in Cape Town in 2013. Meticulously carved from solid pieces of wood, these decorative tortoise shells are as durable as they are beautiful. Their natural simplicity is perfectly accented by the natural variation of the hard wood they are made from.
