Kuba Ecu Wool Rug

Handcrafted in South Africa

Regular price $3,440.00

Size — 5' x 8'

This soft yet sturdy reversible rug is inspired by the famous Kuba patchwork cloths of West Africa, expressed in a contemporary neutral palette. The rug is made from the wool of the Karakul Sheep, which are known for their ability to thrive under harsh conditions and have a number of unique characteristics to their wool that make it highly sought after. The varying natural colors of the wool provides a stunning complexity to its simplicity, and the naturally high lanolin content gives the wool a thick, chunky feel. Suitable for any time of year, the natural Karakul wool is cool in the summer and warm in the winter while the high lanolin content protects it from stains and flames.
