Return Policy

At Kanju Interiors, we strive to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We understand that there may be times when you need to return an item, and we have established the following return policy to ensure a smooth and efficient return process.

Return & Exchange Policy

  1. Return Eligibility: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts, or has been used will not be eligible for a return. International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges 
  2. Timeframe: All returns must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt date. After 14 days, we will not accept returns.
  3. Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged during transit or you are returning for an exchange or store credit.
  4. Refunds: Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected. 
  5. Exclusions: Custom orders, clearance items, oversized items, International orders, and sale items are final sales and not eligible for return.

Return Options:

  • Store Credit :If you have chosen to receive store credit, we are processing your request. A return label will be sent to your email shortly for your convenience. Once you receive the label, follow the instructions provided to complete your return. Upon receiving your items and inspecting them, we will issue store credit to your account.
  • Original Payment Refund: If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, please follow the self-service instructions below to proceed.

      Gifts

      If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
      If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a  later date, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.

      Exchanges

      Items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labels intact. This policy applies to all eligible items, except final sale, oversized, and custom items, which are not eligible for exchange. All exchange requests must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt of the item. Requests initiated after this period will not be accepted.

      Damaged or Defective Items

      • Inspection Upon Arrival: We encourage customers to inspect items immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
      • Reporting Damage: To report a damaged or defective item, please email us at support@kanjuinteriors.com with the following information:
        • Order number
        • Description of the damage or defect
        • Clear photographs showing the damage to the item and its packaging

      Our customer support team will review your request and determine the best course of action, which may include a replacement, store credit, or partial refund depending on the situation.

      Return Shipping

      • Return Shipping Costs: In the event that we authorize a return for a damaged or defective item, we will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label or issue a shipping reimbursement.
      • Packaging Requirements: Items must be returned in the original packaging or equally protective packaging to prevent further damage. Returns not properly packaged may not qualify for a refund.

      Processing and Refunds

      • Refund Processing: Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you a confirmation email regarding the status of your refund or replacement.
      • Refund Timeline: Refunds (when applicable) are issued back to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

      Additional Exclusions

      • Final Sale and Clearance Items: Items marked as final sale or clearance are non-returnable and non-refundable.
      • Minor Variations: Given the handcrafted nature of our items, minor variations in color, texture, and size are to be expected. Such variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.
