Return Policy

At Kanju Interiors, we strive to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We understand that there may be times when you need to return an item, and we have established the following return policy to ensure a smooth and efficient return process.

Return & Exchange Policy

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts, or has been used will not be eligible for a return. International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

  • Timeframe

All returns must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt date. After 14 days, we will not accept returns.

  • Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customers requesting a refund to their original payment method are responsible for return shipping costs. Customers may either:

* Use a prepaid return shipping label provided by Kanju Interiors, in which case the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount; or

* Ship the item back via their carrier at their expense to receive a full refund of the returned merchandise's value.

For approved exchanges and store credit returns, Kanju Interiors will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no additional cost to the customer.

  • Refunds

Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected. If a prepaid return label provided by Kanju Interiors is used for a refund to the original payment method, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Customers who return items using their own carrier will receive a full refund of the returned merchandise value, provided all return eligibility requirements are met.

  • Exclusions

Custom orders, oversized items, and international orders are final sales and are not eligible for returns or refunds. Clearance and sale items are final sale and may not be returned for a refund; however, they may be eligible for exchange within 14 days of receipt, provided they meet all other return eligibility requirements.

Return Options:

  • Store Credit

If you choose to receive store credit, we will process your request and issue a prepaid return label via email. Once you receive the label, follow the instructions provided to complete your return.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), the full eligible purchase amount will be issued as store credit to your account. No return shipping charges will be deducted from your store credit.

  • Original Payment Refund

If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, you may choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Use a Kanju Interiors Return Label

* A prepaid return label will be issued and sent to your email.

* By using the provided return label, you acknowledge and agree that the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

* Please indicate your preferred refund option on the packing slip included with your return.

Option 2: Use Your Own Shipping Carrier

* You may return the item using a carrier of your choice at your own expense.

* If you choose this option, you will receive a full refund of the returned merchandise value once the item has been received and inspected.

Important:
By using a prepaid return label provided by Kanju Interiors, you agree to receive either:

* Store Credit; or

* A refund to your original payment method, less the cost of return shipping.

Please clearly indicate your preferred option (**Store Credit** or **Refund to Original Payment**) on the packing slip enclosed with your return. If no preference is indicated, a refund will automatically be issued to the original payment method minus the return shipping cost.

      Gifts

      If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
      If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a  later date, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.

      Exchanges

      Items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labels intact. This policy applies to all eligible items. Oversized and custom items are not eligible for exchange.

      Final sale items are not eligible for returns or refunds but may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in new and unused condition with all original packaging and labels intact.

      All exchange requests must be initiated within 14 days of receipt of the item. Requests initiated after this period will not be accepted.

      For approved exchanges, Kanju Interiors will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

      Damaged or Defective Items

      • Inspection Upon Arrival

      We encourage customers to inspect items immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

      • Reporting Damage

      To report a damaged or defective item, please email us at sales@kanjuinteriors.com with the following information:

      * Order number

      * Description of the damage or defect

      * Clear photographs showing the damage to the item and its packaging

      Our customer support team will review your request and determine the best course of action, which may include a replacement, store credit, or partial refund, depending on the situation.

      Return Shipping

      • Return Shipping Costs

       If we authorize a return for a damaged or defective item, we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label or issue a shipping reimbursement.

      • Packaging Requirements

      Items must be returned in the original packaging or equally protective packaging to prevent further damage. Returns not properly packaged may not qualify for a refund.

      Processing and Refunds

      • Refund Processing

      Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you a confirmation email regarding the status of your refund or replacement.

      • Refund Timeline

      Refunds (when applicable) are issued back to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

      Additional Exclusions

      • Final Sale and Clearance Items

      Items marked as final sale or clearance are non-returnable and non-refundable.

      • Minor Variations

      Given the handcrafted nature of our items, minor variations in color, texture, and size are to be expected. Such variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.
