Our shipping policy is designed to ensure that your orders are processed and delivered to you in a timely and efficient manner. Please read our policy below to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of our shipping process.
Domestic Shipping
- Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days after being placed. Please note that processing time is separate from shipping time. During peak seasons or holidays, processing may take longer.

Shipping Rates
- Orders $0 – $150: Flat rate shipping of $15
- Orders $150.01 – $249.99: Flat rate shipping of $10
- Orders $250 and up: Free shipping (on eligible items)
- Expedited Shipping: $35 flat rate (on eligible items)
- Shipping Carriers: We work with trusted carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Based on your order’s size, weight, and destination, the most suitable carrier will be selected.
- Shipping Restrictions: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.
International Shipping
- Processing time: Orders will be processed within 3-5 business days after they are placed. During peak seasons or holidays, processing time may take longer. Please note that processing time is separate from shipping time.
- Shipping time: Delivery times for orders shipped outside the continental United States depend on the destination country and may vary based on carrier service, customs processing, and local delivery procedures. Final delivery timelines are not guaranteed and may be affected by delays outside of kanju’s control.
- Shipping rates: Shipping rates are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of the package. Shipping rates will be displayed at checkout before payment is processed.
- Additional costs for orders outside the continental United States: Customers located outside the continental United States are responsible for any additional shipping-related costs, fees, taxes, customs clearance charges, tariffs, duties, brokerage fees, or other import charges that may be imposed by their country, territory, carrier, or customs authority on items shipped from the United States. These charges are not included in kanju’s product pricing or shipping rates unless expressly stated and may be collected separately by the carrier, customs broker, or applicable government authority before or at the time of delivery.
General Information
- Tracking information: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can track your package using the carrier's website or by logging into your kanju interiors account.
- Delivery delays: kanju interiors is not responsible for any delays in delivery due to weather, natural disasters, or carrier delays. We will do our best to communicate any delays or issues that may arise.
- Shipping address changes: If you need to change your shipping address after your order has been placed, please contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change the shipping address, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Inspection Upon Arrival: We encourage customers to inspect items immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- Shipping returns: if you need to return an item, please refer to our return policy for instructions. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
Custom and MTO shipping policy:
- Processing time: For custom orders, made-to-order items, and overseas stock, please allow 8–20 weeks for production and transport, depending on the product, volume, and country of origin. More precise estimates will be provided upon ordering.
- Shipping rates: Shipping and handling charges are based on the chosen method of shipment. It is kanju’s policy to provide shipping quote estimates based on standard ground shipping.* Once the product is received and ready for dispatch, a final domestic shipping cost quote, if kanju is arranging shipment, will be sent to the client for approval and must be paid prior to dispatch and delivery.
- Shipping time: Unless otherwise stated, product pricing for custom and made-to-order items includes international transport to kanju’s showroom location in Dallas, Texas, with domestic freight from Dallas to the customer’s final destination paid by the customer.
- Tariffs, duties, import taxes, and customs fees: Global tariff schedules and trade policies may change between the time an order is placed and the time goods enter the destination country. For this reason, tariffs, duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, and customs-brokerage fees are not pre-collected at checkout unless expressly stated.
- For made-to-order items shipping to a U.S. address, kanju will issue a separate invoice for applicable tariff fees and provide supporting tariff documentation. kanju remains the Importer of Record for U.S. deliveries, and the customer agrees to pay kanju’s tariff invoices promptly and provide any information reasonably needed to clear customs.
- For made-to-order items shipping outside the United States, the customer, or the customer’s appointed customs broker, is the Importer of Record unless kanju has agreed in writing to handle the import. Tariffs, duties, VAT/GST, customs-brokerage fees, and other government-assessed import charges are typically billed separately by the carrier or customs broker at the time of import and are the customer’s responsibility. If kanju confirms in writing that it is handling the import for an international shipment, kanju will bill these charges separately.
- Estimates vs. final charges: Upon request, kanju may provide a good-faith estimate of potential import charges; however, final charges are determined by customs authorities, carriers, or customs brokers at the time of entry and may differ from any estimate provided.
- Non-payment, refused deliveries, and returns: If required shipping, tariff, duty, tax, brokerage, or customs charges are not paid, the shipment may be held, assessed storage fees, returned, or abandoned by customs or the carrier. Any related costs, including storage, return freight, disposal, or recovery fees, are the customer’s responsibility and may be deducted from any refundable portion of the order, if applicable. Customs charges are generally non-refundable once assessed, even if a shipment is returned or refused.
- Shipping restrictions: Due to the contents, size, weight, or handling requirements of some products, orders containing these items may be restricted to standard ground service within the continental United States.
*Additional shipping charges may apply to some items because of size, weight, destination, or special handling required to ensure the order reaches the customer safely. These charges may include, but are not limited to, lift gates, storage, inside delivery, unpacking, accessorial freight services, and carrier-imposed fees
Free Shipping Policy
- Eligibility: Orders shipped to addresses within the continental united states and marked as eligible for free shipping. Orders shipped to hawaii, alaska, or international destinations are not eligible for free shipping.
- Shipping method: We use standard ground shipping for all free shipping orders. Orders typically take 3-7 business days for delivery within the continental united states.
- Exclusions: Custom orders, clearance items, oversized items, and sale items are not eligible for free shipping.
- Delivery addresses: Free shipping applies to delivery addresses within the continental united states only.
