The Indigenus Planters Collection

The Indigenus Planter Collection: Statement planters created with the highest level of talent and craftsmanship.

kanju’s Indigenus Planter Collections embody and celebrate all the very best characteristics of kanju products: dynamic and extraordinary contemporary design, the highest level of artisan talent and craftsmanship, the most naturally luxurious and organic materials, attention to detail at every step of production, and soulful stories that celebrate human ingenuity and exude and imbue character and presence into the spaces they inhabit.

Each Indigenus Planter Collection was originally designed by an internationally renowned architect or artist with roots in Africa. With a shared vision to revisit and elevate how plants are incorporated into our built spaces, the Indigenus designers set our to create remarkable and appealing designs that allow for a deeper human connection with nature while acting as magnificent art pieces in their own right. They are, quite simply, functional sculpture with the power to create a profound interactive experience as people move in and around a space.

As striking as they are visually, every element of construction, durability and functionality has also been thought through. They are, in short, a designer’s dream, with little of the fuss of installation and planting that many traditional pots would have. From the choice of materials to the design of the interior liners and drainage options, you’ll find any and all questions you may have about these pieces have already been carefully considered by the makers themselves, and thorough but well-crafted materials exist to help ensure complete ease of use and care.

kanju is proud to have partnered with Indigenus to bring these incredible collections to the United States for the first time in 2018, and we look forward to continuing to take the design world by storm in 2019. Don’t miss out on the chance to create an extra element of statement design to your next project.
