Refund policy
At Kanju Interiors, we strive to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We understand that there may be times when you need to return an item, and we have established the following return policy to ensure a smooth and efficient return process.
Return & Exchange Policy
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts, or has been used will not be eligible for a return.
- Timeframe
All returns must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt date. After 14 days, we will not accept returns.
- Shipping Charges
ALL Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged in transit, the return is for an approved exchange, or the returner requests store credit.
For returns requesting a refund to the original payment method, customers may either:

- Use a prepaid return shipping label provided by Kanju Interiors, in which case the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount; or
- Ship the item back using their own carrier at their own expense to receive a full refund of the returned merchandise value.
- Refunds
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
If a customer uses a prepaid return shipping label provided by Kanju Interiors and requests a refund to the original payment method, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
If a customer ships the item back using their own carrier, a full refund of the returned merchandise value will be issued to the original payment method, provided the return meets all eligibility requirements.
- Exclusions
Custom orders, clearance items, oversized items, and sale items are final sales and not eligible for return.
Return Options:

Store Credit:
If you choose to receive store credit, we will process your request and issue a prepaid return label via email. Once you receive the label, follow the return instructions provided.
After the returned item has been received and inspected, the full eligible purchase amount will be issued as store credit to your account. No return shipping charges will be deducted from your store credit.

Original Payment Refund
If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, you may choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Use a Kanju Interiors Return Label
- A prepaid return label will be issued and sent to your email.
- By using the provided return label, you acknowledge and agree that the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
- Please indicate your preferred refund option on the packing slip included with your return.

Option 2: Use Your Own Shipping Carrier
- You may return the item using a carrier of your choice at your own expense.
- If you choose this option, you will receive a full refund of the returned merchandise value once the item has been received and inspected.
Important: By using a prepaid return label provided by Kanju Interiors, you agree to receive either:
- Store Credit; or
- A refund to your original payment method, less the cost of return shipping.
Please clearly indicate your preferred option (Store Credit or Refund to Original Payment) on the packing slip enclosed with your return. If no preference is indicated, a refund will automatically be issued to the original payment method minus the return shipping cost.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a later date, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
Exchanges
Items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labels intact. This policy applies to all eligible items, except final sale, oversized, and custom items, which are not eligible for exchange. All exchange requests must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt of the item. Requests initiated after this period will not be accepted.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 72 hours of receipt to arrange for a replacement or refund. We may require photos or other documentation to process your claim.
Return Instructions
- Option 1 - Online Request:
- Create or log in to your customer account here.
- Navigate to the "My Orders" section.
- Locate the specific order containing the item(s) you wish to exchange.
- Select the item(s) you want to exchange or return and indicate the reason.
- Submit your request.
- Once your request is processed, you will receive further instructions via email regarding the exchange/ return process.

Option 2 - Contact Kanju Interiors Directly:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Item(s) you intend to exchange
- Reason for the exchange
- If you prefer to initiate an exchange by directly contacting our team, please email us at sales@kanjuinteriors.com. Provide us with the following information:
- Our customer service team will assist you with the exchange process and provide you with further instructions.
Self-Service Instructions for Original Payment Refund:
- Prepare your parcel enclosing the order confirmation.
- Pack the items securely, in the original packaging if possible, and enclose a copy of your order confirmation. You must state on this document whether you want to change the size or a refund and the corresponding articles.
- If you cannot find it, go to order status and print your confirmation.
- Send the item
- Visit any courier service and send your parcel. Alternatively, and for greater security, send it by registered mail or with an acknowledgment of receipt.
- We recommend you track and insure your package at your expense, as we are not responsible for any items that fail to reach us. Remember that we do not accept C.O.D. Deliveries and will not pay the delivery or return charges.
We will process your return 3 to 7 working days after receiving your parcel in our warehouses.
Instructions for Store Credit Return:
- If you are returning an item for store credit, contact Kanju Interiors to request a return label. Please provide your order details and the reason for the return.
- Once approved, a return label will be issued and sent to you via email.
- Attach the return label to the package and drop it off at an authorized shipping location.
- Once we receive the item and inspect it, we will issue store credit to your account.
In-Store Return:
- If you are exchanging an item, contact Kanju Interiors to request a return label. Please provide your order details and the reason for the exchange.
- Once approved, a return label will be issued and sent to you via email.
- Attach the return label to the package and drop it off at an authorized shipping location.
- Once we receive the returned item(s) and inspect them, we will process your exchange within 3 to 7 business days. If the item you wish to exchange is no longer available, we will contact you to discuss alternative options or issue store credit.
